Adding a secondary method to your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) preferences is a wise precaution. This ensures uninterrupted access to your account, even in the event of technical difficulties with your phone carrier's delivery of the code. Please note, however, that access to the primary method of code reception is required to add a secondary method.
If you want to add a secondary method to receive your MFA code, you can accomplish this during the login process. After you've entered your email and password and selected Sign In, please proceed as follows:
Scroll down and select View Options
On the next screen, select Add New Method
Input the one-time passcode (OTP) you've received to authenticate your account
Select your preferred new authentication method from the following options:
Phone Call
Text Message
Authenticator App
Select Continue
Follow the provided instructions to link your new Authentication Method to your MFA preferences
Please note, if you're unable to add a secondary option due to lack of access to your original phone number or authenticator app, you will need to reset your MFA preferences. For further assistance, consider reviewing this help article.
