For our Rocket Money Premium Members, updating your payment method for your fee can be done directly through our mobile app. Currently, this cannot be done on our website.
It's important to note that the ability to update payment methods is only available for Premium Memberships that are billed monthly.
Here’s how you can update your preferred payment method in our app:
Open the Rocket Money app and tap on the Settings (⚙️) icon located on the top left corner of the Dashboard.
From the menu that appears, select the Premium Membership tab.
Scroll down the page until you find the Manage Membership option and select it.
Next, tap on Change Payment Method.
A list of available payment options from your linked bank accounts will appear. Select your new payment method from this list.
Once you've selected the desired account, you'll be able to finalize the change by tapping on Update Account.
For our Annual Premium Members, you'll first need to cancel your current Premium Membership. Rest assured that you'll retain access to all premium features until the end of your billing cycle. Following the conclusion of your billing cycle, your account will automatically revert to our free version of the app. At this point, you'll be able to sign up for a new Premium Membership, at which time you can select your new, preferred payment method.
