To provide a secure yet convenient access to your Rocket Money account, we allow members to enable their device's biometrics (Face ID, Touch ID for all devices or PIN codes for just Android devices). Once enabled, you only need to authenticate once every 45 days through our MFA practices.
If you are unsure whether you have these options enabled on your phone’s Operating System (OS), you can confirm and enable it by following the steps below:
Apple Devices
Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Search for and tap on Face ID & Passcode (For iPhone 8 & earlier, this will be Touch ID & Passcode).
Enter the passcode that you use to unlock your device.
Scroll down and tap on Other Apps.
Ensure that the toggle next to Rocket Money is switched on (green).
Android Devices
Open the Settings app on your Android device.
Tap on Lock Screen.
Tap on Screen Lock Type.
Select PIN.
Once you enable these features on your device, you’ll want to make sure that they are also turned on in your Rocket Money app! You can do this by following these steps:
Tap on the Settings icon (⚙️) in the upper left corner of your app
Select Profile from the menu
Scroll down to the Security section and toggle on the biometrics that your device offers
