Once you’ve made a Rocket Money account, you can follow these instructions to connect a new bank account.
Connecting financial accounts from the Mobile App:
Select the Settings (⚙️) icon in the upper left corner of the app
Select Linked Accounts from the side menu
Tap the Add Institution button
Enter your bank's name in the search bar and select it when it loads
Tap continue to securely enter your username and password that you'd use to access your bank account online, through our third-party linking provider
Connecting financial accounts from the Website:
Select the Settings (⚙️) icon along the left hand sidebar
Select Linked Accounts from the side menu
Tap + Add Institution button
Enter your bank's name in the search bar and select it when it loads
Tap continue to securely enter your username and password that you'd use to access your bank account online, through our third-party linking provider
What happens after I link my financial accounts to Rocket Money?
After you link your accounts, Rocket Money starts pulling in your information so you can begin tracking your finances.
Bank accounts: Your transactions usually appear right away, but it can take up to 24 to 48 hours. If you run into connection issues, this article covers the most common errors.
Credit cards: You can view your APR, credit utilization, and available balance by by navigating to your card details screen from either the Dashboard or from any credit card transaction.
