There may be times when you need to update the email address associated with your Rocket Money account. Perhaps you've changed email providers, or your old email address is no longer accessible. Updating your email address ensures that you continue receiving important account notifications and can recover your account if needed.
Follow the steps below to easily update your email address on either our mobile app or website.
Updating your Email on our Mobile App:
Tap on the Settings icon (⚙️) in the upper left corner of the app
Select Profile from the menu
Tap in the Email Address section and enter your new email address
Click on Save in the upper right corner. This will send you an email to verify the change

Updating your Email on our Website:
Tap on the Settings icon (⚙️) along the left hand sidebar
Select Profile from the menu
Click on Change Email
Enter the new email in both boxes on the screen. Please note that the screen mentions updating your “username” - Rocket Money uses emails as usernames.
You’ll be sent an email that requires that you to verify the new email address
After you enter your new email address, you should receive an email from no-reply@rocketaccount.com to your new email address that asks you to verify the change. Once you receive the email and verify the change, you should be able to log into your account with the new email address!
