Please note that this feature allows you to share your account information with another person. Always ensure that you trust the person you are sharing your account with.
If you’d like to share your Rocket Money Account, this can only be done through our mobile app currently. If you are the one that is sharing your account, you’ll be considered the “Primary” member, and your partner will be the “Secondary” member.
To share your Rocket Money account with your partner, please follow these steps:
Tap on the Settings (⚙️) icon in the upper left corner of the Dashboard.
Select Profile from the menu.
Scroll down and tap on Enable under Share with your Partner.
Enter the full name and email address of the person that you’d like to share your account with.
Tap Share My Account and then you’ll be taken to a confirmation screen. Select Done to go back to your Profile page.
Once you reach the confirmation screen, your partner will receive an email from noreply@invite.rocketmoney.com letting them know that they’ve been invited to join!
They’ll need to follow these steps to accept the invite:
Tap on Accept Invitation in the email that you received. The subject line will be You’ve been invited to join [Primary Member’s] Rocket Money account
Enter your desired password for your new Rocket Money account. Keep in mind, the email that this invitation was sent to will be your username going forward.
If you don’t have the Rocket Money app downloaded, you’ll be prompted to download the app on your mobile device.
Once the app has downloaded to your device, you can login with your credentials
Please note: at this time the Share with your Partner option is only available in the mobile app, you will not see this option on the web version.
