With a Premium membership, Rocket Money users can share their account with a partner. Account Sharing makes it simple for couples or households to manage finances together - streamlining budgets, transactions, subscriptions, and savings goals in one place.

Each partner receives their own unique login credentials and can set their own multi-factor authentication (MFA) preferences for added security. To learn how to invite a partner check out this guide.

Common ways to use Account Sharing

Create a household budget

You and your partner can collaborate on one budget. For example, one partner can manage the Grocery category while the other sets up Bills & Utilities. Any changes made will update in real time, creating visibility and shared accountability.

Manage subscriptions

Both partners can view, add, and cancel subscriptions directly in Rocket Money. This helps you stay on top of recurring charges and avoid duplicate payments.

Track finances together

Get a complete picture of your household income and expenses by linking bank and credit card accounts. Together, you can categorize transactions and add notes for better tracking.

Save for the future

Create Financial Goals and save toward shared priorities, such as an emergency fund or vacation. For security, only one checking account can be linked to a Financial Goal at a time.
