We do require a valid method of payment to be on file when requesting a bill negotiation. During sign up, we will place a temporary hold of $1 on the given payment method. Once that has been verified as a valid payment method, we immediately release the $1 hold.
When a successful negotiation has been completed, you will receive a confirmation email right away. You are not billed for anything until 48hrs after a successful negotiation is completed. During this time, you can request a payment plan to break up the fee into smaller payments.
Rest assured, if we are not able to lower your bill, this pending charge will be released and you will not be charged a dime!
