Customizing your credit card payment preferences helps Rocket Money work better for you. When your payment amounts and dates are accurate, you'll get more reliable insights into your cash flow, better budget predictions, and clearer visibility into when money will leave your accounts.
How to customize your credit card payments
Here’s how to ensure your credit card payments in the Recurring tab match how you pay them off:
Navigate to the Recurring tab
From the All view, scroll to the Credit Card Payments
Select Customize card details
Follow the enrollment steps and choose your preferred payment date and method for each card
Customization options
You can choose the payment method that matches how you pay your cards off:
Minimum amount due
Statement balance
Total balance
Custom amount
You can also customize when your payments are scheduled, either on the due date, last payment date, or a custom date each month.
What happens without enrolling
If you choose not to enroll in the payment customization feature, the Recurring tab will continue to display your credit card payments based on the previous month's payment date and amount.
While this provides basic tracking, enrolling gives you much more accurate and personalized payment information.
