Watchlist is currently available to Premium members.
Perfect for anyone who finds traditional budgeting overwhelming, a Watchlist lets you monitor and prioritize just the spending that matters to you from the Dashboard. You can watch vacation spending with a tag, track your Dining & Drinks category, or monitor how much you’re spending at a specific vendor. Once set up, your watched items appear directly on your Dashboard without needing to set up a budget or search the Spending tab.
Getting started
From your Dashboard, scroll down to the Watchlist section
Tap Learn more
Follow the prompts to choose what you want to monitor
We'll show you the categories, merchants, and tags where you've spent the most in the last month
You can also search for anything specific you'd like to track
Managing your Watchlist
Want to make changes? Tap Edit, then:
Add items: Tap the three dots (...) in the top right
Remove items: Tap the three dots (...) next to any watched item
Reorder: Tap and hold any item until it wiggles, then drag to reorder

What's the difference between a Watchlist and a budget?
A Watchlist lets you track specific categories, merchants, or tags without setting up a full budget. It's perfect for monitoring just the spending that matters to you, while a budget tracks all your spending across every category with set limits.
How many items can I add to my Watchlist?
You can add as many or as few items as you want to your Watchlist. Track just one category or merchant, or add a combination of categories, tags, and merchants. You can reorganize the list as you see fit.
Can I use a Watchlist if I'm not a Premium member?
No, the Watchlist feature is exclusive to Rocket Money Premium members.
Where does my Watchlist appear in the app?
Your Watchlist items appear directly on your Dashboard, below your linked accounts, making it easy to see your tracked spending without searching through the Spending tab.
