How to cancel a Bill Negotiation

Learn how to request to cancel a Bill Negotiation before it has been completed and turn off automatic renegotiations in the mobile app.

Need to cancel a Bill Negotiation in progress? If you’re planning a move, switching service providers, or canceling your plan, you can request that we stop the negotiation before it’s completed by reaching out to our expert negotiators through the in-app chat or by emailing negotiations@rocketmoney.com. You can also turn off automatic renegotiations to prevent future negotiation attempts directly in the mobile app.

How to turn off automatic renegotiations in the mobile app:

  1. Go the Ways to Save section of the app.

  2. Tap Manage/History at the bottom

  3. Finally, toggle the switch next to the service name you would like to cancel the submitted Bill Negotiation for to Off

As long as the toggle is switched to off, there will be no further Bill Negotiation attempts for that service.


I am having trouble canceling my Negotiation

If you're having trouble canceling a Bill Negotiation request, it's probably because the negotiation has already been completed. You should have received an email from hello@insights.rocketmoney.com immediately after your bill negotiation was successfully completed with a subject line starting with: Negotiation Success.
