ID Theft Protection ends soon

We are constantly striving to improve our services and provide the best experience for our members. As we dedicate resources to building our new credit score experience, we’ve made the difficult decision to discontinue our coverage of Identity Theft Protection.

When is ID Theft Protection going away?

Identity (ID) Theft Protection coverage will end mid-March 2024, when the new Credit Score experience goes live.

What do you need to know?

  • Once our coverage of ID Theft Protection expires, your subscription will automatically be cancelled for you and you will no longer be charged for the service going forward.

  • Having your ID Theft Protection coverage cancelled will not have an affect on your credit score. If you do notice a change in your credit score, this may be because of the new Credit Score experience that includes transitioning from a Vantage 3.0 to FICO® 2 scoring model. To learn more about the differences between these two scoring models, please feel free to check out this article!

Where can I go for ID Theft Protection now?

  • Although we are no longer supporting ID Theft Protection in our app, we are exploring some exciting new opportunities - stay tuned!

  • In the meantime, check with your bank or credit card provider - many banking institutions offer complimentary coverage, and some credit card providers offer built-in ID protection and/or insurance.

Thank you 💜

We want to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a loyal member. It means the world that you use Rocket Money to help manage your finances and we look forward to providing you with new and improved experiences moving forward.
