Please note managing Net Worth is currently only available on the app for Premium users. Net worth cannot be edited on our website.
In order to make sure that your equity values are included in your overall assets with the Net Worth tab, you’ll need to make sure that the “Use equity values in charts” toggle is on. To find that toggle, you can follow these steps:
Tap on More in the lower right corner of the mobile app
Select Net Worth from the options that are shown
Along the top of the screen, select Assets
Scroll down the section called “Assets with Loans” - you’ll see the Use equity values in charts toggle
It’s important to note that this toggle will only appear if you have a home or mortgage linked to Rocket Money or added one manually.
If this toggle is off, the total value of your home(s) and vehicle(s) will be included in your totals and charts. Your associated loans (i.e. mortgages and car loans) will also be included.
If this toggle is on, the equity (the sum of the asset minus any debt you still owe) you have in your home(s) and vehicle(s) will be used in your totals and charts on the Assets Tab. As a result, when the toggle is on and your equity is being used in the Assets Tab, your asset-backed loans (i.e. mortgages and car loans) will be excluded from your Debt Tab.
