How to update your payment method for your Rocket Money Premium membership

Learn how to update your payment method for your Premium membership or adjusting your monthly Premium Membership subscription price.

Rocket Money Premium members can easily update or change their payment method directly in the mobile app. Whether you need to switch to a new bank account, update an expired card, or adjust your billing details, you can manage your subscription in just a few steps. At this time, updates to payment methods are only available in the app and not through the website.

To update your payment method for your monthly Premium Membership in the mobile app:

  1. Open the Rocket Money app and tap on the Settings (βš™οΈ) icon located on the top left corner of the Dashboard

  2. From the menu that appears, select the Premium Membership tab

  3. Scroll down the page until you find the Manage Membership option and select it

  4. Next, tap on Change Payment Method

  5. A list of available payment options from your linked bank accounts will appear. Select your new payment method from this list.

  6. Once you've selected the desired account, you'll be able to finalize the change by tapping on Update Account

    Not yet. Right now, payment updates are only available through the mobile app.

    Rocket Money accepts payments through linked bank accounts and major credit cards.

  • Will updating my payment method change my subscription plan?
    No, updating your payment method only affects how you're billed. Your Premium Membership features and membership level stay the same.
