If you’d like to update the minimum balance (also known as Balance Protection) for your financial goal, follow the steps below.
At this time you can only edit this in the Rocket Money mobile app.
How to edit your minimum balance from the mobile app:
Head to the Dashboard tab in the bottom left corner of the app
Scroll to Savings and select the Financial Goal you'd like to update.
In the top right corner, click the three dots (...) to open the Goal Options menu.
Select Edit Goal.
Scroll down to the Balance Protection section and adjust the amount.
Note: The Balance Protection amount must be set to a minimum of $200, but you can choose any amount above that.
After making your adjustments, click Save Goal to confirm the changes.
Once you’ve saved your changes, your new Balance Protection amount will be updated in the app, and you’re good to go!
