Understand why one of your graphs in the Net Worth tab has a straight, gray line on it.

You may notice a part of your graph(s) has a straight gray line, instead of the normal purple line. This is to illustrate that you do not have data for that time period.

In the example below, the toggle has the 1.5 year time frame selected, so the graph is showing 1 full year and 6 months. In this case however, there is only data for the past 1 year, so the earliest 6 months are depicted with a straight gray line.

There are two common instances when you may not have data to display in the graph and there is a straight gray line:

  1. You linked your accounts to Rocket Money recently and the toggle has a long time frame selected. For example, if you linked your accounts to Rocket Money last month and are trying to see your net worth over the last year, you may not have enough data.

  2. The balance or value of your account(s) has not changed over the time frame selected. For example, if you are looking at a 6 month time frame in your graph, but the balance or value of your account(s) has not changed in the last 3 months, then you may see a straight gray line on the right side of your graph for the last 3 months.
