Don't see any fees listed on your Rocket Money Dashboard? If you've just linked accounts to Rocket Money, please wait for our loading confirmation email to ensure your transactions have been successfully imported for the app to analyze.

If no known fees are listed on your Rocket Money dashboard at all, this means they are either still pending or our secure linking provider, Plaid, may have recognized the fees as transfers. We are constantly working to detect fees as accurately as possible.

Under Federal Law, your banking institution is required to disclose any fees they charge in connection with a deposit account. Please make sure to reach out directly to your banking institution for more information around your specific account charges.

Common Fees

Overdraft Fees

Overdrafts occur when there is not enough money in your available balance to cover the cost of the transaction but your bank has approved and processed the transaction. Usually you will need to opt in or out of overdraft protection directly with your bank. Overdraft fees can vary by bank but are typically $35.

You can follow our Overdraft and late fee refund requests guide for assistance in how to best navigate requesting a refund of overdraft fees charged directly from your bank!

NSF Fees

Non-Sufficient Fund (NSF) fees occur when there is not enough money in your available balance to cover the cost of the transaction and your bank has declined the transaction.

Monthly Maintenance Fees

Maintenance fees occur when your banking institution charges a monthly fee to maintain deposit accounts. Often banks will offer to waive this fee for a direct deposit enrollment, minimum monthly balance or completing a certain number of transaction each month.

Minimum Balance Fee

Some bank accounts require a certain balance available within your account in order to avoid a balance fee. Please check with your institution for more information on the specific balance for your account.

ATM Fees

ATM fees occur when you have used an ATM not within your bank’s network. Using your own bank’s ATM or an ATM within network will help avoid these fees.
